I don't know about you but for me, any player who pulls on a Leeds shirt at any time should give 100%. It's a privilege to play for Leeds and everyone expects 100% all the time, it's not just a job when you can play when you feel like it. I think it's shocking that you can accept and settle for players half arsing it.

Footballers are paid ridiculous wages. What are they paid to do, again? Is it not to play their best? As a fan, I would be disgusted if the money that I pump into the club is spent to pay a bunch of tossers strut about a field, not caring about a match.

Agreed about the second point, though. This big Europa League home match against a Ryan Giggs spearheaded Manchester United side really takes the cake ahead of matches against Real Madrid and Barcelona.

And I know this doesn't affect you because you watch every game on your laptop, but if I parted with over 100 quid of my hard earned cash to follow the team on an away trip and they just played with the mentality of 'this is a poor mans competition, can't be arsed lol' then I'd be properly fucked off.

ManUtd got defeated by the better team over two legs. So either Athletic Bilbao are really a better team in general or the ManUtd players didn't put in the effort. If they didn't put in the effort, they are blame and should get their asses chewed by their manager.

i never said i dont want them to win, i just didnt care either way since europa league wasnt even in my view at the start of the season. and since we clawed ourselves into 1st position in the league yeah i would rather not have fucking matches on Thursday nights for a competition that will bring no sense of achievement/joy at the end of the season
