Sure, I wouldn't be happy if Barca were knocked out of the CL group stages. But I would be even more embarrassed if they got kicked out of the Europa League.

the thing is, you would be knocked out. manager would rest key players, your players wouldnt play as well

think of the losses barca had in la liga this season.. playing slow and just keeping possession without forcing it.. that would be your europa league campaign

on paper sure its embarrassing to go out of a tournament you should win but in reality we just dont care about it as much as the other teams in it. as an example our game against blibao was probably bilbao's biggest game of the season where as for us it was the least important game of the season. Man City got knocked out by sporting... FUCKING SPORTING! that team is beyond average, that wouldnt happen in the CL if the game was in that competition.

Yeah but you said ManCity would never lose to Sporting in the CL. You said Basel is the same level as Sporting and I'm assuming ManCity is the same level as ManUtd. Yet ManUtd lost to Basel in the CL. Now you are digging deeper by making it seem like the group stages don't matter either.
