Evra looks like he couldn't give a toss out there. What a terrible example to be setting as captain in place of Vidic. I honestly hope we sell him soon and get someone else in as left-back.

@Dena- Maybe so. But I think you maybe underestimating the likes of Marseille and Benfica here. These are Champions League regulars every season, regularly make it to the latter end of the tournament, where as Bilbao have just had the tie of their lives, I'm not saying they haven't got quality, they have, plenty. But when's the last time they played Champions League football?
They've been in and around the mid table of the Spanish league for a number of years now. Though having said that, they're progressing massively under Bielsa and it showed against Utd. The general consensus has always been... your league form shows the overall quality of your squad, they're 7th in the league at the moment. And as I said too, Man Utd have been very very poor in Europe this term.

They've been progressing for a while now, they may be 7th but the race for 4th is pretty tight right now, I think it's a 3 or 5 point difference. In terms of talent I'd say they'd have no trouble making to the KO round and like I said compare favorably to some regulars, who honestly are 'regulars' due to the fact that they are in weaker leagues.

I think fergie is purposely trying to lose this game, Otherwise he wouldn't of started with giggs.
Should of started with Welbeck or Chico.
on about 5 or so times we should of been given freekick just outside there box but ref didnt give them
And the one where there guy racked Clevelrys leg was close to being a pen.
United should have had penalty, but give Bilbao some credit as the have been top class over the 2 legs so far. But are you a real Manchester United fan, with that statement you made i dont think you are.
In the second half united shoulf have had a pen, Bilbao have been great, Hoping they win it now. Reckon they can too.
If fergie actually wanted to go through he would have started with 4-4-2 with Welbeck on and giggs on the bench.
We have played many games this season 4-5-1 and we usually do bad, Best thing to do would of been just come out and try to get goals.
And by that performance Evra should be sacked/Not play LB ever again.

I'm actually hoping for Athletic to make it into the top 4, Valencia and Athletic 3rd and 4th could do although I'd even prefer someone else instead of Valencia for third.

Well done Bilbao, a terrific club with great fans. Hope they can replicate these performances as they showed they are a match for Europe's best sides.

I hate getting knocked out, but when we have to get knocked out I'm a little more OK with the fact that a side like Bilbao did it. Local talent, a club built on youth development and who play quality football like that, you have to admire them. Plus it's fun to watch Bielsa on the sidelines.

Valencia always do fuck all in europe, id prefer to see bilbao and malaga make the top 4, with malaga strengthening in the summer.
