Welbeck can't finish a ham and cheese. So he probably wouldn't have "way more goals."Keanoo wrote:Welbeck has played out wide all season plus half of his appearances have been off the bench.
Suarez is obviously better but it's stupid comparing there stats this season when Welbeck has been played put of position.
I'm sure if Welbeck was played at striker and was made the main target man of the team like Suarez he'd have way more goals than he has at the minute.

Suarez is orgasmically sensationally gorgeously good at football.

Re: Welbeck Vs. Suarez
I don't like the "he's been used outwide" defense that's been brought up here a couple of times.
And the reason I don't like it is that it insinuates that Danny Welbeck is as good a footballer as Luis Suarez.

Re: Welbeck Vs. Suarez
Well, it doesn't.
It's the main explanation as to why he's only scored twice all season.
He's not turned into a worse footballer than last year where he got over double figures in his first proper season with us. If he hadn't have signed van Persie he'd have got more games in his proper position and scored more goals- obviously not the 21 that Suarez has though.

Even for a wide player that record is pretty bad. But Welbeck has played as a striker a few times this season.

Yeah it's not great, but considering he isn't a true wide player..Grenade wrote:Danny wrote:Well, it doesn't.

And has Keano pointed out, Suarez hasn't scored in the Bernabeu this season..

Re: Welbeck Vs. Suarez
It's laughable at this point if people really think Welbeck and Suarez are equal in terms of skill, back then it was arguable at least. Welbeck might surpass Suarez eventually, but Suarez is by far a more effective player.

Suarez is a better player but I would take Welbeck everytime based on character.

dem Vela vs Walcott comparisons from 2 years agoGuest wrote:Speaking of similar stats Carlos Vela has the same amount of goals and assists as Theo Walcott. Also with Van Persie up top I'd reckon I could get an assist or two myself.
