For every Hernandez there is a Manucho, a Bebe, a Tosic, a Llajic.

I have no fucking idea, not playing for United though, that's for sure. The Llajic deal fell through.

Beşiktaş loan
Turkish side Beşiktaş signed Bébé on a season-long loan deal,[28] with an option to make the move permanent for £2 million. However, he suffered a cruciate ligament injury which would rule him out for 6 months

Hernandez has a special skill that can't be taught or improved on, some people call it luck, others good positioning, and the rest call it being a jammy cunt.
But yeah, Jackson is good, strong, fast, good header of the ball, scores all kinds of goals, decent finisher. It's been a while since he last scored a goal though. 3 games I think.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uoMbXVL_0gs#t=1m
That was his last goal scored.
Although it's not rare to have the best players in this leauge go a while without scoring goals, for some reason they are rarely the top scorers, it's always the poachers with very little technique. The poacher in Mexico is still very much alive, almost every single club plays with a poacher up top and an attacking midfielder behind him.
Then there are clubs that play two poachers on occasion like Cruz Azul in Libertadores.
...And I'm rambling.

You should write Kenny this.Laurencio wrote:CollieBuddz wrote:

Our problem is we don't have the players who can provide a bit of magic to find a gap.
So I respectfully disagree. It's players not tactics.
I think it would be unfair to say you don't have good players. You definitely have at least a handful of players that are far more talented than most players in the league. Simply put, you have players who have a lot of talent, but you just don't use them well enough.
Andy Carroll is still criminally missused, he needs passes behind the defence and a more clear cut chance to get the ball into the net (worked for Newcastle). Not a floating long ball for him to attempt to get some power on, the crosses he does recieve are far too weak, and he can not put enough power or direction on the ball when he gets to it.
Luis Suarez also drops far too deep for my taste. For Ajax, Uruguay and indeed Liverpool the majority of his goals comes from inside the box, usually after having pulled away from a defender, that's where he is at his best. So that's where he needs to be most of the time. Not dropping deep trying to play other/weaker technical players through.
Maxi Rodriquez a man with considerably technical ability and a player that is quite clever on the ball, is consistently dropped. I don't really understand that when you sort of need someone who can break down the final third, which is what he has consistently done through his career. Him being dropped when that's clearly what you need does not make sense to me.
Charlie Adam who's ability to break through the final third has served you well this season, doesn't see enough of the ball despite being your best creator by far. He does missuse the ball at times, but he also has a passing ability that isn't being used to its full potential.
Craig Bellamy is one of the few players in the squad who has the pace, the ability and not to mention the movement, to open up space for other players, often those with more technical talent (such as Suarez). Yet he has spent most of the season on the bench. Why?
I don't think you could argue that the players in your team has less "magic" in them than the likes of Mark Gower, Danny Murphy or Stephane Sessegnon. I don't really think any one of those players would improve your team, yet they all have better chance creation statistics than the majority of your players, despite having considerably less talent.

Re: Liverpool FC Official Thread
In a press conference Dalglish was asked about the 3 straight league defeats. Something that hasn't happened to us since 2003. He said it's not good enough and stuff. He then goes on to say things like "We'll just keep on going about the way we have done". Well there's obviously a fucking problem with the way we're doing things in the league and that's why we're fucking losing!

He's completely disrespectful to journalists and the Liverpool fans wank over it. Then they complain over the media supposedly favouring other teams, idiots.

Re: Liverpool FC Official Thread
He'd fit right in. Although incredibly talented he's a bit of a dick. When he first joined Jaguares he struggled a bit, obviously getting used to the leauge and all that, but I guess his frustrations were so great that he came out with some incredibly embarrassing comments. He said something along the lines that his teammates were not passing the ball to him and that he didn't know the reason why but that it might be because he is Black and that they don't like Black people.
The ironic bit of this is that Jaguares is the club who has had the most amount of players of African decent. Specifically Afro Brazilians and even a few Afro Mexicans. It was a hot topic for a brief time because the accusations came out of left field but Jackson ended up scoring a goal soon after the allegations and everyone just seemed to forget about it.

Journalists are complete douchebags and are disrespectful to most managers, why do they deserve his undying respect on the back of their despicable behavior?

They deserve respect as human beings, Kop King Kenneth doesn't even afford them that, he's just blatantly rude, treating every single question as an attack on Liverpool FC. He even accused Sky Sports of being racist earlier this season.

How can you claim to know what he feels about them as human beings? You can't know that. He is dealing with them in the manner of their profession, which in these instances they are very dishonest and disrespectful.

Because we keep the ball. We more often than not have more chances than the opposition. We concede very little.
I'm happy with how Kenny sends the team out to play football. I'm not happy with who he sends out to play football.
Let me know when you want me to repeat it again.
so who's to blame?

He talks to them like they are shit when they are doing their jobs, their jobs which allow you to get an insight into the workings at your football club.

I agree with Jord and Sean - I used to like Kenny's interviews and now I don't bother watching them. He's very cynical about every question as though there is some agenda against him and his team. Sometimes - for example the interview after the United game - I feel embarrassed

Fuck off you douchebag. You use the "how can you claim to know, you cant" bullshit all the time and when it puts you in your place you spout off with insults and shit.
