Oh, Gordon, you've lived in the states long enough to know the stigma associated with teeth that are anything less than perfect.

It's why all British celebrities have to go to the dentist if they want to be successful here, and this isn't a dig at the British, I'm being dead serious, a lot of them have to go to the dentist and get fixed up.

I know Simon Cowell used to have not so pearly whites a while back.

In Canada it is more important. You are always in thick sweaters and winter jackets so the only parts really exposed are the face and the teeth. We don't get the liberty of flaunting around in bikinis and skimpy clothing showing off are sexy or well built bodies like you guys do in the states. Thus teeth and good smiles are important.
