    quick question cunts- my current PC is a windows XP.. if I buy a windows 7 upgrade for it, would that make it faster and not sound like a jet engine when I open alot of tabs etc?

    Going from XP to Vista is just changing the OS. The hardware is still the same, so the processing power won't be improved simply by installing a more advanced OS.

    What you need to do is buy more RAM, it's the easiest and cheapest way to make your PC faster.

    sometimes it helps if you get a new quieter PC fan and replace the old one, my old PC was fucking loud as well and I did that. great success.
