I was watching this video on Youtube about how to try and reduce lag on XBOX Live and the guy said that you should "clear system cache", he said that this gets rid of things that you do not need on your XBOX, does that include updates on FIFA or did he mean other stuff?

The cache is the memory of what you did , so when you visit a page your save some of the stuff so you don't have to load it again for example. I think it just deletes the old update.

I cleared my cache and reset my router and it was fine for 2 days. The lag is awful though, it ranges from about .5 of a second even upto 7-8 seconds. 
Im not even exaggerating, it sometimes really is 8 seconds.
