The Devil's Poison
Why do people think that it is cool and "chilling" to allow this morally poisonous drink into their bodily systems?

I agree, it is a clear example of groupthink.Eternal Witcher wrote:Peer pressure.

Society deems it as unacceptable not to slurp from the devils magic medicine, shame really, imagine how many potential careers would've blossomed without alcohol.

It appears young Peter's argument has petered out when faced with the age old "Feels good man" conundrum. It's okay, many have been bested by the wise frog, Peter.

Alcohol is great, if you don't like it you can't call it the Devil's Poison, that's a bit overboard lol

You have completely misinterpreted the meaning of my dot dot dot post. Those dots symbolise the certain quizzical nature of my post. They suggest that I am not entirely sure what you are attempting to bring to the table. Thus, these dots say that you must elaborate, listen to me listen to me.Zzonked wrote:It appears young Peter's argument has petered out when faced with the age old "Feels good man" conundrum. The "devil's poison" is an understatement compared to what I truly think of this dastardly beverage.Paulinho wrote:Alcohol is great, if you don't like it you can't call it the Devil's Poison, that's a bit overboard lol

I have thought to myself several times why so many people drink alcohol too. It can be worse than smoking.

Re: The Devil's Poison
I gave alcohol a while same as I gave up meat, smoking, masturbating, and pretty much everything else that feels good.
Only the not drinking and smoking stuck.
Actually that's wrong, I smoked and drink when on vacation. So I guess I'd have to start from there. It's been nearly 4 months without a smoke or drink.

Alclohol is a disgusting substance which should be banned along side smoking, both are killing people off in vast numbers, i believe you can enjoy yourself while being sober too.

Banning things is not the way to go.

They ban guns, they should ban Alcohol, just as dangerous, even though Alcohol kills more people a year in british.
And Glen is not trolling, this is serious matter

Nothing, however, what good comes from banning lifestyle choices?

If these things start getting banned, how far will it go?

It depends on what that lifestyle choice is. In this case...
- Reduced crime
- Reduced deaths
- Reduced costs
There many more positives that can come out from it. Freedom of actions is nice and all, but there needs to be a limit.

Re: The Devil's Poison
Never really understood the point of getting smashed only to wake up with a hangover or something.
But banning is the wrong way to go.
