Re: McCarthy sacked.
Benitez is the bookies favourite
I reckon Warnock will take-over, he'll do a shit job but they'll still appoint him. There aint really anyone else out there at the moment.
Whichever club Mick goes to are extremely lucky!

Re: McCarthy sacked.
Nah, Steve Bruce or some other English journeyman will go there.
Merry go round off managers.

Re: McCarthy sacked.
Benitez has ruled himself out of the Wolves job, I have no idea why the bookies chose him as the favourite.
It was on SkySport but I cant find it:

Disappointing, I've always quite liked the man. I think they'll be relegated now.

Benitez said he wanted to manage in England, he also said he wanted a project. Now realistically, unless Spurs want him in the Summer, which top team can he go to?
He rejected Villa, which I understand, he wanted money. But Wolves actually back their managers a fair bit, as did Sunderland. Surely these are the type of clubs he'd be interested in rather than waiting 10 years for a top job to be available. Benitez is a great manager, especially with counter attacking systems. I'd love to see him take over a mid table/lower PL club that will back him with money.

I think it is too do with, when Steve Morgan wanted to take over Liverpool in 2007, he wanted to remove Rafa as manager.

Re: McCarthy sacked.
Oh really? Didn't realise that.
Running out of clubs though that Rafa could realistically manage. Obviously he wants a potentially big club with someone who'll back him.
Spurs, Sunderland, Wolves, QPR.
They are only really the ones, and 2 of them recently took on 2 managers. Unless some more investors turn up, I can't see him getting a PL job anytime soon.
