No idea who's gonna step up. Redknapp won't untill the end of this season if he does.

67% - England won 67% (28/42) of their games under Fabio Capello, scoring an average of 2.1 goals per game. Divorce.

Heard that Southgate and Brooking will be caretakers.

The sad thing is that his reputation will be forever tarnished in England.
Hopefully he goes back to Italy and wins a few trophies.

Wow, didn't see that coming.
Got a lot respect for Capello, he must have sacrificed a lot of money by quitting early, he wasn't willing to give up control of the squad for any amount of money.

All the top teams have managers from their own country, it should help with an Englishman in charge.

Meeting called by Bernstein, went on for an hour, and ended in Capello giving his resignation. Sounds like being sacked to me. Bet he got a nice pay-out too.

Re: Capello Quits
Hey guys, let's celebrate the fact our dumb FA forced out our manager right before a major tournament.
I hear you say "he was a shit manager anyway!"
Tell me who we will get that has won 9 league titles (7 if you don't count Juve's), 7 major cup competitions including a Champions League win. A guy who was managed Milan, Roma, Juventus and Real Madrid while being succesful at them all.
Epic and another shit tournament on its way.

Yea, but we have no one who is tactically good enough from this country.
Maybe 'Arry if were pushing it. I think he should stay at Spurs, and not fuck up and move to England.

He dug his own grave by publicly stating he wouldn't accept the new captain's authority.
