What are your thoughts on Gareth Bale?

You don't get scouted by Barcelona 7 times if you're overrated.

He's a very good player, and still VERY young. He's developed his game to move infield more as well as switching to the right. He's scored and assisted in the league this season more than last. He's got better. And to say he's only had a few good games is ridiculous, as someone who watches every Tottenham game for 90 minutes, he has had plenty more than just a few.

I don't know any club who wouldn't want him starting for them.

Not overrated, he justifies the praise he's getting.

That said, if he were English he would definitely be overrated.

Agree with you here.

He has become a lot more intelligent then he was last year, knows where it is useful to put himself. Last season he was poor towards the end of the season because he started being marked properly, but now he is used to it and has risen above it.

Fantastic winger, has showed great consistency in his performances so far this season but I think he should just stick to playing on the left.The new free role he has been given seems to make him less effective, he can't function in tight areas in the middle and it gives him less chances to whip in crosses which is the strongest part of his game.The fact he is pretty young and can get better scares me.

Quality player. Well on his way to being a world class winger IMO.

Has added alot more to his game this season and has refined what he already had.
