Err... Juan Mata's worth isn't the same as the price Chelsea paid for him... This is like saying that since Newcastle got Demba Ba for free, and since Darren Bent is not as good as Demba Ba, then Aston Villa should have to pay someone to take Darren Bent if they wanted to get rid of him.
