He has really deteriorated as a player since 2007,2008 and 2009. I used to be his biggest fan and members of this forum can remember me stating he'd be a good goalscorer in the EPL years ago when Fulham and West Ham were close to signing him years ago.

If you want to believe the stats, fine, I won't stop you. But if I were you, I'd listen to what I say. Stats can only say so much.

I remember folk saying that the Strachan should be sacked for signing an unknown Polish keeper on loan instead of Anti Niemi.

I hope he does well, he used to be my favorite player.

The difference between signing Brozek and Zurawski or any other Polish players you have signed in the past, is that those players were signed in their prime in Poland, Brozek has already fallen off the tree so to speak.

Porto can sign the best South American talent because they don't have to worry about work permits, language barriers or weather. Look at Porto, they're entire team is South American. Our scouting system is fantastic and if you knew anything about our team you'd know that we've unearthed gems like Izaguirre, Kayal, Hooper and Ki. You're always talking about transfermarket, so look at the values of our players and what we bought them for. Plenty of teams have a similar budget to Porto but have a far inferior team to us.
