Steve Nicol was arguing on TV that Man City are the 2nd best team in the world - ahead of Real Madrid. He said if City were in La Liga, they would be ahead of Madrid, mainly because they are more physical and can match the technical ability of Madrid.

Yes and if he wins the League cup, he will then have won every top domestic trophy as player and manager. And i dont think there will have been many to do that in their careers.ResurrectionRooney wrote:I figure that winning a trophy, even an insignificant one, will ensure that Dalglish keeps his job for another 6 months at least.

Been a few years since they had a chance to get a trophy. Naturally they will be excited about being in with a 50/50 chance (or better) of winning one.

City smashed you 6-1 and you barely beat them 3-2 when they had 10 men for the vast majority of the match.
