    In what way will TSN be remembered as the film that defined this era? What does it have that others don't?

    Ledger's performance isn't miles above any in TSN. Anyway, the ensemble cast of TSN was much more impressive than TDK.
    Maybe TDK is more relevant to this generation than Adam West's Batman or Tim Burton's, but it certainly doesn't have more contemporary value than TSN. TSN will be remembered in the future as the film that defined an era, like The Godfather.

    Facebook and Twitter may be remembered as the social networks that may have "defined an era," I don't know to what extent the film you're referring to will...

    It will define the generation as much as any film can. I will be proven right in the future... hopefully.

    My unadulterated support. Enough of this conversation now, it's boring.

    Sorry, but there was nothing special or defining about the movie. Something like Avatar changed the movie industry. But TSN?!

    @BG

    The film definitely captures a lot of what this generation is about. As you said, we'll just have to wait and see as to how much it may have "defined" it.

    If I watch the movies I missed in 2010, I bet TSN wouldn't even have been the best film of that year.

    It made more sense as the movie went on. I was confused about the Limbo part though. Then I got it after reading the plot after the movie.
