And if you look at Halsey's yellow cards per game ratio, it has actually increased from the few years immediately before his unfortunate illness And no, it is not pertinent, it is vile and disappointing from a good poster such as yourself.
He doesn't have the balls to send players off any more, he's a coward of a man. If he is only getting games because of his leukaemia then it is pertinent.

That comes off as a bit weird. Might want to put 'srs' to seal the deal.

Re: Liverpool vs Man United | FA Cup
My friend, I am not bitter whatsoever. I think anyone with an intelligent footballing brain can see that United were a vastly superior unit in a FOOTBALLING sense. Maybe Liverpool have more of a physicality, which they used to make up for their lack of footballing skill. This can clearly be seen with both Liverpool goals. I would expect championship teams to be able to score those goals.Kuled wrote:Only RR and Liam are bitter.
Please do not accuse someone of being bitter when they can see the facts, and have a phenomenol understanding of the game

Liverpool score poor quality early goal, Liverpool put everyone behind the ball while United dominate the game, United score fantastic goal requiring a great degree of skill and technical ability, Liverpool proceed to park the bus and United dominate, Liverpool hoof the ball from goalkick, Carroll comes back from offside to knock the ball down for Kuyt to score a poor quality, and wrongly allowed winner.
Should be 1-1 full time and United proceed by winning comfortably at Old Trafford. However, some linesman are clueless and therefore there is always a chance of poor quality teams scoring poor quality goals to proceeed.

You do realise that there is no offside from goalkicks?

Re: Liverpool vs Man United | FA Cup
Both teams started strongly, Valencia hit the post with a great strike. We get a corner, put 3 men around De Gea (lol) and Agger scores past the hopeless keeper. We then proceed to play quite negative defensive tactics and a mistake from Enrique led to Valencia crossing in for Park to score with a nice finish.ahlycotc wrote:I missed the game. How was it?
In the second half United were once again stronger early on but once Adam, Kuyt and Bellamy on they seemed to change the game. There were a few shaky moments at the back where Welbeck got past Reina but Skrtel did brilliantly to clear away. Reina once again had to sweep the ball away from someone else. We started to play better but didn't have a final product. With 3 minutes to go Reina's goal kick was nicely flicked on by Andy Carroll to send through Kuyt (Evra was in no man's land). It was a decent finish to make it 2-1 About a minute after Carroll was unlucky to hit the bar from a tight angled header and Kuyt somehow put wide the rebound
Overall it was a decent game, quite a lot of action. Me being biased would say we deserved to win, although unbiased maybe a draw would've been a little more suited to the game. Oh well
