This post stinks of bitter-ness for some reason. Is it because of last season? When you lost against Birmingham? A lot of Arsenal fans certainly treated that final as a major final if I recall correctly. Only becomes a small competition when you're kicked out, right? We beat the team that knocked you out, yeah, you mad.

It is a Wembley Final, is it not? Please correct me if I'm wrong.

By the away, the shot Agger took, that deflected off Richard's leg was actually being deflected goal-bound, therefore stopping a goal scoring opportunity, please watch it again from the correct angle. It was heading for the right side of the goal, Hart had gone down on to the left side. Open net.

I like how you don't mention Gerrard getting incorrectly booked in the first few minutes. I like how you don't mention that City's first goal was a freak goal. I like how you don't mention that we outplayed them on the day.
I watched the game and stated facts if that comes across as bitter it doesn't matter, the points stand.

That shot was not goal bound after the deflection off his foot. It was more likely to hit a cloud in the sky than than the back of the net, watch.

That is most certainly a penalty, doesn't matter if it's accidental or not, he handled the ball in the box, and it's a penalty

lol eventhough that was not a pen... where the ball is going has nothing to do with whether it was a foul or not (to chris)

on the decision, it was wrong because if it hit his hands without hitting his leg its a pen but because it hit his leg he had no time to react/move his arms out the way so it was not even close to being intentional. and his arms were not in an unnatural position

His hands was outside of his body, when defending you should have your hands infront of you or behind, so you can't give away a penalty, it was an unnatural position considering his hands were allover the place. Good call by the referee

I should add that this is yet another case of Liverpool fans making things up. Scott saying the shot was going for the goal before it hits Richards arm.. just like Suarez said "nigerito".

They literally make things up that are not true to try and make their club look better, pathetic.

If it was an intentional handball it is a penalty. Does that really look intentional to you?

Really? Here's a pic showing the trajectory of the ball.

To go from his foot to hit his arm there it was blatantly going into row Z and nowhere near the goal.

Nope, you're just blinded by your bitterness. You'll never accept it.

Even if we went with what you're saying, so what? We deserved to win the game, we were by far the better side throughout both legs. And as if Arsenal have never had a dubious penalty. Happens to the best of them.

You wouldn't have been the best team had Adam been sent off for his 2 blatant fouls and City got their deserved penalty though. Shit refereeing.

How do you know he would have been sent off? If City had been awarded a penalty, and Adam got booked, it would changed the game and that Adam/Silva foul wouldn't have happened. The whole layout of the game would be different, the butterfly effect.

How do you know City would have scored the penalty?

    Stop being stupid.

If Adam had been booked for the first one that means him and Gerrard couldn't risk tackles for the rest of the game and City would have ran riot. Also its obvious they would score the panalty, you have Pepe Reina in goal.

What was the score when this City penalty appeal happened? 0-0 right? They would never have scored that wonder goal if the penalty had stood.

The penalty didn't make a difference because City went 1-0 up anyway. There's nothing to say Adam would have been booked either. It was his first foul and it wasn't intentional. Would argue that he wouldn't even have been booked had the penalty been given.

Law of averages says Reina would have saved it.

I like how you use Gerrard's booking, just forgetting that his booking was never a booking in the first place? Oh, so it's alright for things to help City, but not Liverpool.
