I watched the game and stated facts if that comes across as bitter it doesn't matter, the points stand.

That shot was not goal bound after the deflection off his foot. It was more likely to hit a cloud in the sky than than the back of the net, watch.

His hands was outside of his body, when defending you should have your hands infront of you or behind, so you can't give away a penalty, it was an unnatural position considering his hands were allover the place. Good call by the referee

How do you know he would have been sent off? If City had been awarded a penalty, and Adam got booked, it would changed the game and that Adam/Silva foul wouldn't have happened. The whole layout of the game would be different, the butterfly effect.

If Adam had been booked for the first one that means him and Gerrard couldn't risk tackles for the rest of the game and City would have ran riot. Also its obvious they would score the panalty, you have Pepe Reina in goal.
