Charlie Adam made a foul inside the 18 yard box which should have been a penalty to Manchester City and also a yellow card at the least for him.

Charlie Adam fouled Silva which was an obvious yellow card... should have been sent off, didn't get one card.

You got awarded a penalty which was not an intentional handball by Richards and nor was it stopping a goal scoring oppertunity (the oppertunity is the shot by the way) and the shot bounced up off Richards leg.

So to summarise you did not deserve one of your goals, one of your players should have been sent off and City should have been awarded a penalty.

The ref was a joke and handed you a "Wembley final" as Scott calls it.

If anyone racially abuses Evra they should not be allowed back inside Anfield or a football ground again. I mean its the last thing Liverpool football club needs, but there will still be the chanting of "We will kill any bastard that gets in our way" But that is allowed.

Yes it should have been a penalty, but we dont know what would have happened even if City had scored it the entire game could have changed one way or another. But as they say you also need a bit of luck at times to win things at times, and i dont think we are the first or will be the last to get to a final by getting a bit of luck.

Well maybe if someone racially abuses Evra or chants something at him, they can say the same thing.

From what little I saw of the match (I was watching that other match and the buildup to that) I thought Liverpool played quite well. That Bellamy goal at the end was quite sublime team-work.

Liverpool i think were the better team, but City were very unlucky with the decisions.

So yes, we were the better team by miles on the day. Even the BBC recognised that, and they seem to find it hard to praise us in their match reports.

Liverpool's late nerves could have been settled earlier but for a superb display from City keeper Joe Hart, who produced a string of top-class saves, particularly from Martin Skrtel and Stewart Downing in the second half.

It just sounded strange that a team that draws 2-2 (almost won 2-1) was "miles" behind you. I'm quite shocked that your finishing was that good though

This post stinks of bitter-ness for some reason. Is it because of last season? When you lost against Birmingham? A lot of Arsenal fans certainly treated that final as a major final if I recall correctly. Only becomes a small competition when you're kicked out, right? We beat the team that knocked you out, yeah, you mad.

I watched the game and stated facts if that comes across as bitter it doesn't matter, the points stand.

That shot was not goal bound after the deflection off his foot. It was more likely to hit a cloud in the sky than than the back of the net, watch.
