How has he been useless? Done well a few times to keep the ball up for you, won a few headers to head it on, and even had a nice attempt on goal after he finally got a decent cross in there.

You would have a hard time proving that someone is spitting at someone else 100 yards away when there are 20 players in between them. What do you think Balotelli's intent was with that spit? Was he just spitting normally or was that a reaction to the referee's decision?
