Rodney from Only Fools and Horses, Frank Spencer, 3 stooges, pretty much every slapstick comic had an element of dopiness, that's dating back to the silent films era. Stupidity is synonymous with comedy when you think about it. I bet it even dates back to court jesters and shit.

I'm not arguing with Pip or Glenny though, because I'm aware they just dislike popular things for the sake of it.

I could start perceiving most of this forum as an act if I had any interest in doing so.

People being stupid (intentionally or otherwise) can be funny. Whether or not people are laughing with them or laughing at them, they're still laughing.

Yea, I downloaded my first book on Christmas night and like an hour later my dad comes in and tells me he forget to give me something, the book I had just downloaded
