Manchester City's wantaway striker Carlos Tevez says that he is fed up of travelling and that he will not be returning to England because he wants to play for Boca Juniors in January.
Tevez, 29, is AWOL from training after he was suspended and fined having refused to warm-up against Bayern Munich in September and is currently in his native Argentina where he has been spotted playing golf.
AC Milan are so far the only club to show concrete interest in the striker with a loan offer that could see him move for £21 million in the summer and Juventus are also believed to be considering a bid.
However, City have maintained that they will not sanction a loan move and want ''fair market value'' of around €35 million for Tevez. And they will not be happy with the latest quotes from the Argentine, who claims he does not want to return.
"I don't care if I lose money. I'm tired of travelling and going back and forth. I'm not coming back to England," he told Gente magazine. "{I want to] go to pre-season with Boca [Juniors] and play [Copa] Libertadores with them."
Boca, Tevez's former club, are unlikely to be able to afford the kind of fee that City want and the player has reportedly sent his representative Carlos Rouco to England to ''unlock everything'' and help facilitate some kind of move.
The Copa Libertadores runs from late January to early July, although City will be loathe to let him leave without some form of compensation.
Tevez had a hugely successful spell with Boca from 2001-2004. In 2003 he won the Apertura title, the Copa Libertadores and the Intercontinental Cup (now Club World Cup). He was also named the player of the tournament in that Libertadores success.
In 2004, Boca won the Copa Sudamericana while he won a Gold Medal at the Olympics with Argentina.
