Unfortunately City will still win the league, nice to see them lose for once though.Sean wrote:Your welcome

Kyro, your avatar is really nice. I liked the Van der sar one too.

2 points behind and we've been playing poorly, not too bad. We also hit top form around new year as well. Lets hope RVP get something from City next week while we beat QPR

For the record I do disagree it was offside, I suppose I see where you are coming from however.
Although, over a season this will happen several times, for and against every team. Swings and roundabouts.
Like that 'debatable decisions' table Kuled posted where City were actually bottom with 4 bad calls against them, and not a single one in their favour.

If you want to go by that, they had us above City by a couple of points if all decisions were correct.

We would of beat Liverpool if it wasn't for Giggs.

Sadly that's just the way it goes in football, and will do forever until the ice cream calibrate perfect robot officials.
Does this mean we can still claim to be the European Champions?

Cleverley returning and staying fit, could end up being a significant turning point in your season. Having Cleverley in midfield encourages Rooney to stop dropping so deep which will result in slightly more vintage performances from him and more to the point United.

RR should make the match threads. His only one was the 8-2

Not true, I also made the one where we predictably rinsed Schalke, and the last game in which we failed to score, a 0-1 defeat at Ashburton Grove. And I only made the 8-2 one and the Schalke one because I knew we'd smash their back doors in.

Apparently Darren Fletcher has a serious long term disease and Manchester United are going to make an announcement 'shortly'.

Oh my lord. Poor fletcher
Well now we need at least 2 new midfielders in January, or alternatively Pogba needs to play more and we need one more to come in.

Makes our decision not to sign a midfielder even more baffling. Relying on injury prone players in Anderson and Cleverley, a man with a serious disease, Michael Carrick and Ryan Giggs, honestly, what the fuck was Ferguson thinking? The Sneijder thing, you can put down to money or him not fitting in or whatever, Modric, didn't want to leave London/money, but Parker and Barton, why the fuck didn't we go after these guys? We've got the depth of a fucking paddling pool.

Cause Barton is a massive distraction that fucks up the dressing room and isn't really that good of a player either. If you're going to rant at least rant about good players

He's not really that good of a player, but neither is Fletcher in all reality, and Barton was free, at least get some able-bodied players in there rather than a load of fucking permacrocks.

To be fair, if he is going to bring in mediocrity he might as well just let Pogba and Morrison play for the first team. Both of them probably (Pogba definitely) has the potential to be a lot better than Barton. Seems pointless to get a player just because he's free. We don't need Barton, we need substantially better than Barton, free or not.

I agree with you that we need better, but if you can't get it, then you should get the best you can. I'd love to buy a Ferrari, but if someone's giving away a Fiat Punto for free I'll take that ahead of riding a pushbike that the wheels keep falling off. And Pogba and Morrison are nowhere near ready.Laurencio wrote:ResurrectionRooney wrote:

i just read fletcher article, this was going on for awhile. no wonder his performances dropped
also jones has shown he is a capable CM. not against high quality sides but he can easily play there againt most pl clubs.
