City must win to keep their hopes of qualifying for the knock-out rounds alive.
TEAM NEWS
In-form Manchester City right-back Micah Richards is doubtful for
their decisive Champions League clash against Bayern Munich. Richards
has a slight calf problem and will be assessed but Pablo Zabaleta could
take his place after recovering from a knock sustained in last week's
Carling Cup win at Arsenal. Gael Clichy is likely to continue at left-back with Aleksandar
Kolarov out for around three weeks with a groin problem.
Bayern Munich will be without winger Arjen Robben and
midfielder Toni Kroos for the match at the Etihad Stadium after the pair
were struck down with flu. Forwards Thomas Mueller and Mario Gomez are
also doubtful with similar symptoms.
I predict a 2-1 City win.
