- Suppose Spartacus could never be bested by single combat...perhaps other than by Gannicus....but tough to see him go out the same way as Crixus. But Gannicus should have had a stronger way out, I hated the way he was handled. All about giving these gods a true send-off, and that didn't strike the right beat. Suppose the dread of foreknowledge blighted the episode for me. In truth that was for most part a very epic finale, but a sad one in equal part.
