Good performance from the young players, thought they did very well to take it all the way to extra time. Fringe players, combined with the injuries to Berbatov, Rafael and Fabio was always going to see this a difficult task for what was left of the team, but I thought the determination right to the end to equalise was fantastic.
I am surprised to see Fergie not to bothered about going out of this competition, considering it makes City or Liverpool the likely winners of the cup, however Fergie must feel it is insignificant for a club to win this

My friend, I agree they didn't play very well as a team, but that is what you expect of a mix and match team that are bunched together and some have barely trained with each other before.
It is an excellent learning curve for the players, and now they will know what to do differently next time
