Hopefully not so it doesnt look as bad when we get thrashed.

Well we did against you in the FA cup didn't we? It's obvious that we will.Liverpool wrote:Do you think United will put out a strong squad against City?

Thankyou my friend, Dimitar Berbatov is a sensational player, worthy of any football team.
My belief is that United's team is not designed for Berbatov, it is designed with Rooney in mind. Everything is about pace, wing play and long passes. This is certainly not a design tailor made for Berbatov.
If we designed the team for Berbatov, a midfield with quality, and wide players who switch positions and link up with small one touch passes, and players who consistently cross accurately and are not too greedy with the ball then you would see a completely different Dimitar Berbatov, he would be up their with Messi and Ronaldo for player of the year.
I remember when Dimitar Berbatov played for you and performed this fantastic skill against us:
And here is a sensational 9 minute film dedicated to the player himself
He is simply a one of the kind footballer, you will not see a similar player for years to come, simply because they cannot match his ability. Watching Berbatov play regular first team for Tottenham now with the style they play and chances they create would be something to behold
I ran across the road without looking once, when I was 13. I didn't get hit by a car, but I still realised it was a fucking risky thing to do, so I stopped doing it.Kuled wrote:He picked the same players that did the job away from home at Leeds and Aldershot, we just didn't play well, fucking hell

Yes, some of his selections are poor, but they'll surprise you with a win most the time. Some of his signings might be awful - Bebe, Obertan, Kleberson etc... Then when he gets it spot on with Vidic, Evra, Ronaldo, Keane.. No one brings that up, or gives him the credit for getting them, just says "yea, but he's brought shit before".

You make Berbatov sound like a god, it's admirable how you manage to do that despite him not playing all that well lately.

My friend, please name a bad Dimitar Berbatov performance this season

Maybe it's time he realised that throwing an XI together who've never played with each other is risky business, and is disrespectful to your opponents, particularly when it is such a big game for them.
Vidic, Ronaldo and Evra were good signings, although it's worth noting that Ronaldo was rated as one of the best young players in Europe, we had to fight off interest from Liverpool and Arsenal. Keane was a British transfer record so it's no surprise that he turned out to be pretty good. In any case, no-one is saying he made shite signings all the time, what I am saying is that he has made a lot of shite signings and more importantly, omissions, in the last few years.
He would have had all the talent sucked out of him, been forced to play second fiddle to the likes of Gerrard.Kuled wrote:Can you imagine Ronaldo at Liverpool? ..Urgh
