Hopefully this isn't boring, Berbatov on his own is a risk.

As I have stated on numerous occassions, and as this match would suggest, Dimitar Berbatov is Manchester united's second choice striker.

If Rooney is injured. Berbatov is always the one to step in. Clearly Ferguson's most trusted striker as he believes in Berbatov to run the frontline on his own. Berbatov will always start ahead of Hernandez with no Rooney available.

I keenly await this match, I am sure with Dimitar Berbatov in the side United will find goals much more easier to come by. Whether he is the goalcorer or not is another matter, but Berbatov in a Man Utd team means goals, history suggests that Very Happy

Incorrect. As seen previously, Welbeck has been shifted to wider positions, sacrificing himself for more superior options down the middle in Berbatov.

The loyalty shown by Dimitar Berbatov to Manchester United is extroidinary, no other player can match it, and I cannot understand why so many fans continue to hate on Dimitar Berbatov Rolling Eyes Stunning player, stunning personality, stunning human being, I can only assume that Dimitar Berbatov haters are jealous Rolling Eyes

I understand your reasoning, not many players would be content with sitting on the bench for as many games as he has this season but he has not complained once. Marvelous player.

My friend, would you show which games where Welbeck changed positions to the wing because of Dimitar Berbatov? Also, I find it outrageous that you have called me a Dimitar Berbatov hater, how dare you.

Of course Liam exaggerates but Berbagod is honestly a world class player, don't understand all the animosity towards him still, I think every one agrees that he wasn't worth what United paid for him but it's not his fault, some of the skills he posses are second to none, end of.

You won't win, Benfica haven't been defeated in about 6 months. If Manchester United were to lose tonight, then I cannot see them finishing top. That'd mean the Manchester club would have to face the likes of Real Madrid, Barcelona, etc.

Yeah well who gives a fucking shit because we're not going to win the Champions League anyway and we'd have to face Barca or Madrid eventually.

Berbatov comfortable makes the game a 4-2-4 with his excellent hold up play. Nani, Young and Valenca will flash past him with Berbatov providing a sensational assist or assist of assist.

Only with Dimitar Berbatov does a formation that on paper looks like a 4-5-1, in reality become 4-2-4 at times Manchester United vs Benfica. - Page 2 914411

It's not even 4-5-1 on paper, as neither Young, Nani, or Valencia are central midfielders like Carrick and Fletcher. Laughing
