Reminds me of Arsenal last season (I think ) Tried to play semi weakened teams and it come back to bite them in the ass.

If Rooney is injured. Berbatov is always the one to step in. Clearly Ferguson's most trusted striker as he believes in Berbatov to run the frontline on his own. Berbatov will always start ahead of Hernandez with no Rooney available.
I keenly await this match, I am sure with Dimitar Berbatov in the side United will find goals much more easier to come by. Whether he is the goalcorer or not is another matter, but Berbatov in a Man Utd team means goals, history suggests that

Should have won that, had enough chances to do so then when we finally go infront we make a mistake at the back.

No. No, we were really good today but unfortunately we played our worst striker and he didn't take his fucking chances. Berbatov should never fucking play again.VivaRonaldo wrote:Shit again

He should have buried his volley, because that's what he usually does well, but you can't just blame him.

From that starting 11, Cleverley, Rooney, Vidic, Welbeck, Hernandez and Anderson could have all been in the 11, when I say missing I mean they just weren't starting.I Andy I wrote:kyro7 wrote:Just a shame we were missing 6 or 7 players.

DDG
Jones/Smalling - Rio - Vidic - Evra
Cleverley - Anderson
Nani - Rooney - Young
Hernandez/Welbeck

Re: Manchester United vs Benfica.
A strong display, aesthetically pleasing as you would expect with Dimitar Berbatov we are scoring much more freely however concentration slipped after the second goal, and that has cost Dimitar Berbatov from being hero of the match
I am extremely pleased with his performance tonight, and at the same time dissapointed that he will not recieve the headlines tomorrow morning fue to the lapse in concentration.
The future looks bright for Dimitar Berbatov, I think the only Manchester United player along with Carrick who can be pleased with their performance. Let's hope he palys some part on Saturday
