I am extremely pleased with his performance tonight, and at the same time dissapointed that he will not recieve the headlines tomorrow morning fue to the lapse in concentration.

The future looks bright for Dimitar Berbatov, I think the only Manchester United player along with Carrick who can be pleased with their performance. Let's hope he palys some part on Saturday Manchester United vs Benfica. - Page 10 914411

What are your comments on Berbatov missing the 1 on 1?

What cost Berbatov was him skying a chance 9/10 times he'd put in the back of the net.

Most players can be pleased with their performance. No one in particular did badly.

Perhaps we'll see Ferguson retire if United fail to qualify this season. Also, Benfica have qualified. Hurr Durr Derp Derp

If Benfica have qualified, maybe they wont go full strength on Otulul, we need to go full out to qualify against Basel.

They'll want to finish top, to play the first leg of the last 16 away, so I doubt they'd make so many changes and not get a result.

    Are they home or away?

What are your comments on Berbatov missing the 1 on 1?

My friend, it was far from a 1 on 1, it was a challenging and difficult volley from a ball that didn't have much pace on it. If anything, Berbatov got too good a contact on the ball. He was technically too good. If it was Rooney he would have most probably shinned it or thigh'd it with poor tecnhique and had it trickle into the goal Rolling Eyes

My friend, please do not single out Berbatov, had it not been for defensive lapses that finsih would not have been required and Dimitar Berbatov recieved man of the match award Smile

Really? I wouldn't think failing to qualify for the CL knock-out stages whilst being behind City would be a good sign. Ah well.

+ Nice way to draw with Berbatov's offside goal.

That would probably spur Fergie on to get ahead of City again if they do stay ahead. He won't just think "fuck it". Neutral
