They do rehearsals to make sure there are no two of the same team or group. They do the same for other draws you know.

I can understnad that for the UEFA Champions League and the Europa League when you have multiple teams from one country involved, but not here. All you need to do here is put Poland and Ukraine in their respective groups and then just pick from the pots until you are done.

But mistakes happen. Somebody could've accidentally put someone in twice (eg someone may have put two balls that say England). Plus, the dances and singing performance need dress rehearsals as well as all those professionals on the stage need it to know what they are going to do.
