Reasons you love football

Most people love the sport, the team, the players etc.. So basically why do you love football?

The football we play is entertaining.
The highs of winning and the lows of losing.
Away days
Poor decisions
Hard tackles
Wonder goals

This, i love everything about it.

Team goals and dominating possession. Like when Barcelona passes the ball around 50 times without giving it up to the other team. Stuff like that shows the true beauty of football.

The euphoria you go through when your team gets a last minute winner, nothing beats it.

When you lose it isn't the end of the world unlike when teams like us lose.

This. It was great scoring in stoppage time against Peterborough to win the game after feeling gutted at conceding an equaliser just minutes earlier against 10 men. We don't get many stoppage time winners so it's even more special.

Just the feeling you get on a matchday, the buzz and excitement.

Its so hard to put it into words id say the reason i love football so much because its unpredictable its exciting and i just love that special moment when somebody does something that just leaves you speachless and above all for me theres no better feeling in the world than when your team scores a goal.

When you lose it isn't the end of the world unlike when teams like us lose.

It's a different feeling. For us, we're not use to losing so it's hard to take a defeat.

The banter with the away fans or home when you are playing away.

I wouldn't say i love football though i hate many things about it.

Definitely the feeling when you have travelled to an away match, quite a long and expensive journey then you score a winner right at the death and then go absolutely batshit mental. Even a last second equaliser feels so good, when you travel all the way to Brighton and equalise in the last seconds it makes you happy for the rest of the weekend.



Like bury said though I love football but at the same time I hate a lot of things and people involved with it.

I love the impact it has, it can make your day or ruin it, I love the stories and personalities that come from it, the Ballotelli's and the Zlatan's of the sport, how it can be seen as simply as a game or as in depth as a science. Just everything

Football means more if you are actually at the game and experience these aspects.

Maybe, but if we're talking about football as a whole, In fact I'd say I was more of a fan of football in general than of any team.

Fair point and VivaRonaldo I'd be happy to be a Wimbledon as all the turmoil they were in is now worth it.
