Of course we were going to park the bus, against a team like Spain you have to otherwise you get ripped to shreds. We parked the bus and beat them with it, the only reason we didn't really attack was because some of the passing and long balls were shite and not at all accurate. I wish they would get off their high horse where the way they play football is the 'right' way. At the end of the day it's whoever wins not how they win as long as it's fair, which England did.

He's always had a problem with teams playing like this, he did at Arsenal and it seems he does at Barca/Spain. He should be looking at himself first though, he had 2 golden chances to score and fluffed them both.

You really think they took it to heart? you really think the best team in the world who have been battered in friendlies this year care? You really think they care when they're holders of the european and world championships?

Getting battered in friendlies isn't the ideal preparation for a major tournament.

italy and argentina are living proof in recent times that you can outplay spain if you have the right players and get result. obviously england doesnt have the players hence why they park the bus instead

It's a friendly, I doubt Fabregas or anyone else is going to be bitter about it. Of course they wouldn't comment on England's tactics if Spain won. When is the last time you saw someone complain about the other team when they win?

But we got a result without the 'right' players. A win is a win, doesn't matter how you get it. Football is a results business, and we got the result.

i prefer them to moan instead of the generic "we have to take confidence from this into our next games" comment that the winners always seem to make. watch the videos of the english players giving interviews, they all say this. media training gone overboard

I was replying to his comment about complaining when a team loses.

If the team in question wasn't England and the person giving the interview was someone like Mourinho people would be posting very different things.

Only complaining about a team when you lose is bitter.

If they'd won 2-1 he may well have said similar things, but we obviously don't know that. I think he's blaming Spain for poor defending at the free kick, rather than having a dig at England, and that's the only part that may come across as bitter.

He does come across very bitter but he was right England parked the tank

Its funny because all the England fanboys seem to care about the comments more than Fabregas did himself
