Left footed shot that drifted just wide, and when he got through and probably should have shot, but his square to Piqué was cut out by Parker.Kuled wrote:Villa hitting the post was the bestDanny wrote:Probably bitter because he messed up their 2 best chances.

Yeah, the Villa chance was more of a half chance whereas Fabregas should have scored both of his.

England definitely did park the bus, so he's right, I don't see what the problem is.

Of course England parked the bus, and we did a fantastic job of it. Scotty Parker.

Of course we were going to park the bus, against a team like Spain you have to otherwise you get ripped to shreds. We parked the bus and beat them with it, the only reason we didn't really attack was because some of the passing and long balls were shite and not at all accurate. I wish they would get off their high horse where the way they play football is the 'right' way. At the end of the day it's whoever wins not how they win as long as it's fair, which England did.

We didn't park the bus, we parked a fucking lorry, especially in the last 15 minutes

I don't see the problem. Fabregas wasn't whining about England's tactics, he was simply stating a fact.

Just emptied the car park and put the cars from the car park on the goal line?

I thought he was doing both
He's always had a problem with teams playing like this, he did at Arsenal and it seems he does at Barca/Spain. He should be looking at himself first though, he had 2 golden chances to score and fluffed them both.
Plus he need to sort out his shit hair. Almost as bad as Carroll's.

No way.
These guys only moan when they don't get the result. If Spain won they wouldn't be coming out with all this bitterness.

You really think they took it to heart? you really think the best team in the world who have been battered in friendlies this year care? You really think they care when they're holders of the european and world championships?

Getting battered in friendlies isn't the ideal preparation for a major tournament.

italy and argentina are living proof in recent times that you can outplay spain if you have the right players and get result. obviously england doesnt have the players hence why they park the bus instead

It's a friendly, I doubt Fabregas or anyone else is going to be bitter about it. Of course they wouldn't comment on England's tactics if Spain won. When is the last time you saw someone complain about the other team when they win?

So Fabregas is complaining, but you're saying he's not bitter?

Asking when is the last time someone complained when they win implies that Fabregas was complaining.
He was just having a bit of a moan tbh, even if it is true.

But we got a result without the 'right' players. A win is a win, doesn't matter how you get it. Football is a results business, and we got the result.mauro=beast wrote:italy and argentina are living proof in recent times that you can outplay spain if you have the right players and get result. obviously england doesnt have the players hence why they park the bus instead

everyone moans when they have to speak directly after a match they lost
i prefer them to moan instead of the generic "we have to take confidence from this into our next games" comment that the winners always seem to make. watch the videos of the english players giving interviews, they all say this. media training gone overboard

I was replying to his comment about complaining when a team loses.

If the team in question wasn't England and the person giving the interview was someone like Mourinho people would be posting very different things.

If they'd won 2-1 he may well have said similar things, but we obviously don't know that. I think he's blaming Spain for poor defending at the free kick, rather than having a dig at England, and that's the only part that may come across as bitter.Lux wrote:ahlycotc wrote:It's a friendly, I doubt Fabregas or anyone else is going to be bitter about it. Its funny because all the England fanboys seem to care about the comments more than Fabregas did himself
