Lampard better in the deep midfield role, Gerrard better in the hole. Anyone who think's different is a clown.
Yet we all know that if both were fit that Hodgson would choose him over Lampard for the current role in midfield. But I suppose everyone else knows better than an experienced international manager.

Chamberlain, Young and Welbeck are all very mobile players. They are difficult to mark, and also have a touch of ball control to their game, that makes them troublesome for defenders. They are also capable of playing in each other's positions, which means that they can interchange positions to make marking them even more difficult. It's a difficult trio to defend against.

I think we will be more direct. With Milner RM and Ox LM I think we won't be using wing play as it may be hard to penetrate the French fullbacks, I think we will see a lot of Chamberlain and Milner coming quite central inside and linking up with Young to provide Welbeck, Ox might try and play off Young too to help feed/score.

Might be wrong but that's what I'm thinking.

The French defense won't have it easy unless Koscielny is playing. Young, Welbeck and Chamberlain will certainly cause them troubles, but those troubles will be limited as England will be on the back foot the majority of this match struggling to cope with the French attack.

    France 2-0 England.
