Rangers send back VVV Venlo striker Michael Uchebo after only the first day of his trial, he was unable to impress the Rangers backroom staff.
Celtic made a late attempt to steal the player before he headed back to Holland, although were unable to secure the funding. VVV were looking for only a small fee of £1million.

I didn't make the thread, not my problem. You did ask for it.

No. He used to be my favorite player years ago but now he is completely shit, well passed it.The Maestro wrote:Polska do you rate Brozek?
He can still score against even shittier SPL sides, but don't get your hopes up.

He wouldn't want him to be good.
But yeh, Hopefully we can sort something out over the next few days. Would like to see him give it a crack in scottish football. What sort of player is he like? i.e. what does he have going/not going for him? Any pace, technique, skill etc?

Re: SPL Transfer talk
All the rumors have him going on a 6 month loan at Celtic atm, not Rangers.
Erm, before he became horrible, he was your general all-round striker minus the technical and creative -ness. He was a good finisher, well composed and generally knew how to find a net (but he also had a few wtf? moments as well where he'd miss an open net or blast a shot wide by miles, and this got even worse after he became horrible) Erm, he isn't that tall(like 182cm which is still decent I guess), but he can jump and head the ball well and can be an aerial threat, he is fairly quick, nothing special though, strong enough fend off a defender in the box, he in his prime was also a workhorse. I remember once upon a time he had a good first touch as well, but that is completely gone.
To be honest, I wouldn't be surprised if he goes to Celtic and is completely dogshit.
edit: I probably made Brozek sound worse than he is. He still is a decent striker and he wasn't completely terrible in his few cameos with the National Team over the last year, but don't expect anything.

Re: SPL Transfer talk
Brozek will not be coming to Celtic. Just lazy reporters linking us because Rangers are interested and then removing Rangers from the equation because they have no money. Luis Suarez is deluded if he thinks we are interested in shitty Polish players.
The most tragic thing is he believes it himself.

It was a shame that Sochaux's bid for Edu was turned down. Would have liked to seen him in France.

Not sure if serious? Edu is barely a footballer.
