Strange that. He rates Jelavic at £10M but would be happy for him to fuck off if some Albanian guy playing in the Austrian league signs.

Jelavic had a reputation and cost Rangers £4M whereas Salihi is available for under a million.

I find it confusing he rates Jelavic at £10M but would rather have Salihi

    I don't find fault in Jela's logic.

Rangers should be a selling club. A club where they sign talented players and sell them at peak value. It's nuts to suggest not selling Jelavic for the amount priced.

I would definitely want Melikson to leave my club if an offer of 12M came in for him.

    How is that baiting? rofl

It's simple common sense. I'd be the same with a lot of our players if £12m offers came in.

No, Melikson is actually a class player.

He would have little issue starting for a good side like Valencia or Werder or someone.

I only value him at about 7-8M though, but I wanted to get the inflated price-tag Jelavic has for the sake of using him as an example.

    Hmm?

You have to expand on that, because for awhile he was going to represent Poland, then he decided he won't represent anybody for a few months and decide in the future. Early in the year he decided he will play for Israel.

Anyway I thought I'd mention that Celtic have to be bringing in Brozek to start. Brozek needs lots of minutes to find form and is a terrible player when under pressure. This is what screwed him over in his final year at Wisla, his NT career and especially his entire career in Turkey.

Well from that point of view, he's making a massive mistake. Rangers have mega injuries up top, the main reason for us dropping points i.e. can't score goals. Therefore, would probably have started every game with Jelavic.

If that's true, then maybe it is a mistake on his part, as he'll be expected to score goals here, while not necessarily playing regularly.

But you can't blame him for choosing us over Rangers, considering we're the better option in every way at the moment.

    Hmm ...

    1) 3 successive league titles
    2) Most successful team in world football history
    3) One of the richest men in Scotland, investing in our team

Again with the overuse of smileys...

    Let's see then.

    1) Financial stability
    2) Ability to offer higher wages
    3) Top of the league
    4) Favourite to win the league

Not a dig at all. Unless they have a particular leaning towards Rangers, there's not a lot of players that would choose them over Celtic at this time.

One of the richest men in Scotland, investing in our team

Hasn't shown it yet has he? Where's the £25 million over five years again? And if you genuinely think that players will choose a team based on the financial standing of the shareholders and owners, then Celtic win again.

    1) Can't afford £1million to pay Uchebo + The panic loan signing of Brozek.
    2) Not true, Our highest paid player is McGregor 30-35k a week (basic).
    3) 1 point
    4) After having not won it since 2007-2008, err ... ok then.

Craig Whyte took over 8 months ago, therefore such information will take another 4 years and 4 months to compile.

    1) Can't afford £1 million? Or didn't offer anything? I think if we'd made an offer, there'd be more than just a two line quote from the VVV manager...

Also, in what way does that make Celtic's financial position worse than Rangers'? Because you know it's not, right?

    2) And...? Will they be able to offer any other players that wage? No. Celtic actually have too many players on wages like that.

    3) Still top of the league... scratch

    4) The previous seasons have no bearing on this one... Celtic are clear favourites for the title this year. It doesn't make anyone less of a Rangers fan by acknowledging that.

And Whyte's a joke. I don't get the blinkered views on him.
