Are you ignoring the fact it says Richards has impressed This season No mention of previous seasons?

Could easily switch some players that they compare around and get a different result.

Of course they are using this season to compare, anything else would be down right strange. Micah Richards is older, more experienced and a better player now than he was a season ago, not to mention two seasons ago. I already said that I disagree with the comparison between Lauren and Richards. However, if you look at the statistics, they are pulling up stats primarily based on one season for the both of them. Whatever Richards did three seasons, two, or even one season ago does not matter in the slightest if you are comparing this current City side to the Invincibles.
Now, I don't have the exact statistic, but I'm quite sure that 11 games in Lauren did not have an 82% successful tackle rate, or as many assists as Richards.

I wasn't complaining about the stats, I'm saying that they are comparing some players solely based on this season, like they did with Richards, I never said it was false, I said they can't compare based on 11 games, I do not question the fact that Laurens' stats were probably much worse, but they need to compare evenly, not just a whole season v 11 games for some players.

You would, but it would still be a pretty close call. 1 player advantage to either of the sides I reckon.

I am not disagreeing that it's half arsed. Any "compare this with that" is always half arsed, however I would be hard pressed to see how Lauren could have better stats 11 games in than Richards now has 11 games in. The stats you keep mentioning hold firm. The entire "point" of the article is to compare the Invincibles to City's current side. Anything happening before this season then becomes irrelevant. That is why they are only using one season.
Clearly any "serious" assessment would have to be made in a much deeper analysis of individual player attributes, overall strength of the squad, tactics, management, backroom staff, what games City has played and what sort of games Arsenal played during the same time, injuries, pitch and weather conditions, luck vs ability in crucial games etc. However this isn't an in depth analysis, this is simply a fluff piece.

The league is more competitive now. If City went a whole season without losing then they would definitely be better than Arsenal's invincibles.
On paper, they already are hands down.....

City will go unbeaten. The team they have now is just too strong for the epl but i still think the invincibles have a better team.
