Re: SBSP's FM12 Save [FC Barcelona]
I decided I had enough of Wigan for now and went back to my Barca save. Won 10-0 in my first match back (friendly).

Agüero Out for 2-3 Months
3 days after signing for his new club, and 69 minutes into his first game, Sergio Agüero pulled up short while running into the penalty box. He tore his hamstring and will not be back in action until April. Agüero joins Xavi (7-8 weeks) and Montoya (6-7) weeks on Barcelona's long-term injury list.

Sounds familiar.
Don't worry, he will be back and in form.

January Update
Barcelona hit full form at the beginning of the year, but slowed down due to the number of games being played. Athletic Bilbao were knocked out of the cup after a 2-0 second leg score. Messi and Barcelona then went berserk in the next three games. 10-man Espanyol were demolished 6-0. Messi scored four as they repeated that scoreline in the cup against Levante. Barcelona then hit their biggest win of the season - 9-1 against Betis in the league. Despite having Villa sent off in the 12th minute, Barca were rampant, with Messi hitting five. They then secured four nervy wins - 3-2 after trailing in the second leg against Levante; 4-1 against Malaga, three goals coming after Malaga had a man sent off; 2-0 at Villarreal in the cup after Piqué was sent off; and 2-1 comeback in the league against a 9-man Villarreal.

Looks like someone needs to instill some discipline in the team.

The only thing that pisses me off about Aguero is he takes too many shots. He is like 30 yards out and decides to take a shot. No matter what position I put him in (i.e. Deep Lying Forward, etc.), he still takes long range shots. They are nice when they go in (he scored from 40 yards in the last game), but it's rare. I wish I could make him pass instead.

Iniesta out for a month, and Sanchez out for 2 months.
Messi, Xavi, Iniesta, Sanchez, and Agüero all out. Wish I had registered Hleb.

Villa, Pedro, Eriksen, Thiago, Afellay, Fabregas. I guess Adriano and Alves can double as wingers if they get too tired.

February Update
Barcelona were relatively poor in February, due to playing eight games in 25 days. They begun strongly, defeating Villarreal for the third time in a row, and dismantling Real Sociedad 6-1. Messi suffered an injury as Barcelona were shocked at home against Malaga; a Villa brace was not enough as a late Malaga goal gave them a 3-2 win. Barca responded well, beating Osasuna 5-1, and edging Porto and Valencia 1-0. Rayo Vallecano were smashed 6-1, but Barca could not muster enough against Atletico Madrid, who beat them 2-1.

March Update
Barcelona were unbeaten in March, but drew three times. They began the month by beating Sporting 2-0, thanks to a David Villa brace. A draw to Porto set up a Quarter Final clash with Chelsea. Racing were beaten 2-0, but Barca drew 2-2 again against Sevilla. Messi scored his 50th goal of the season in this game. Messi scored a hat trick as Barca beat Granada 4-0. Barca dominated their home tie against Chelsea, but could not find a way past Cech.
