Guardiola better manager the fergie? that just toally made me not even bother talking to you. messi doesnt play = Barca doesnt play. as said fergie's biggest weakness is tactics.. same for guardiola, but he doesnt have all the other attributes fergie has or he isnt as good at them. he has 1 style and 1 style only, if it doesnt work he has no answers. thats not a great manager. this is a guy that let Yaya leave
Er...he let Yaya leave and he nearly won the Treble the season after. Guardiola is a man who has gone into a Champions League Final against Ferguson missing 75% and 25% of his defence, and used midfielders to plug the gap and outdone Ferguson.
Can you explain some of the great Ferguson's decisions that I brought up?ViVaRooney wrote:
he can hardly play defensive with a team like Madrid... jsut look at the players. even if he tried he couldnt be defensive. dont be such a spastic
Sure he can, didn't you see how they beat Barcelona in the Copa del Rey Final, it wasn't through kamikaze football like Ferguson tried (twice), that's for sure.
the board spent £300m+ for that team(half of that in 1 transfer window ), he wouldnt get that anywhere else but man city. so if he did come here there is no way we would be scoring that many goals
Well it depends what team the 'greatest manager ever' leaves for him, doesn't it? If he left a team like we've got now, I think you're right, he would have to play defensive football to avoid farcical results like Manchester City, but if he inherited a team as good as the 07/08 one, not so much. He adapts to his circumstances to achieve success regardless, that isn't a bad thing.VivaRonaldo wrote:
Not hard with the players he has there, but at Inter and most knowingly Chelsea he was too defensive.
I wouldn't say he was too anything at Chelsea or Inter, given the unprecedented success he brought to those clubs. What he's done at Madrid, it proves that when he wants to, he can have his teams play great football. They even outscored Barcelona.
For all the random and slightly odd things RR says, he's right about Mourinho. Exceptional manager. The way he's building Real Madrid is just impressive. I really wish Fergie had the insight to buy midfielders like Özil and Sahin. Those two alone would have virtually solved our midfield issues.
