derbies you miss or want to see

As wonderful as the promotion and relegation system is on occasion it will take away an important rivalry for a time sometimes long and others short. Here is a place to list derbies you miss or you would like to see that has not happened yet.

Argentina: Boca Juniors v River Plate- Anyone with serious interest in South American football miss this.

France: PSG v Paris FC - Would be nice to have two teams from Paris

Germany: Bayern Munich v TSV 1860 Munich

Hertha Berlin v FC Union Berlin - held last year no idea if it would be good; two top division teams from Berlin would be nice

Italy: Juventus v Torino

Spain: Real Madrid v Alcorcón

Bonus (not an actual derby) Barcelona B v Real Madrid B



Any others you can think of? Remember I made this derbies you miss or want to see so it does not have been played previously just one you would want to see as well.

I could still see Panathinaikos - Olympiacos, but it is hard to see

Kilmarnock v Ayr united hopefully it could happen in the Scottish League cup semi final.

Man Utd v Leeds is the biggest I can think of in England

No doubt this is a good rivalry but not an actual derby. It would make the list of games that are missed. Before this year I would have said Millwall v West Ham United would have been a big one but at last they are in the same division. I am sure a lot of potentially interesting derbies in London have been missed or never really happened.

None. All the derbies I care to watch can still happen.

Juve v Torino

Stoke vs Port Vale

I thought of a few more.

"England" (English system but actually Wales) Cardiff City v Swansea City

"Switzerland" (Swiss system but actually Liechtenstein) FC Vaduz v any other team from Liechtenstein; all of the other teams from Liechtenstein really suck so I can never see them at the same level as FC Vaduz.

Olympiakos vs Ethnikos,traditional Pireaus derby.

Shame ethnikos are in the 4th tier of greek football now.

I'd like to see a Cheltenham vs Gloucester derby. Sadly we haven't played them in many years due to our quick progression from the non league to the football league.

Colchester VS Southend, hoping that may happen as the Shrimpshits are doing good at the moment (unfortunatly).

Liverpool vs Forest was always a big game, not a derby, but it would still be nice to play them again.

Manchester United vs FC United of Manchester

AFC Wimbledon vs MK Dons

Want to see them both at some stage.

Man United V FC United wouldn't even be that much of a derby Fans don't hate each other, only thing FC hate about United is the ownership.. but still have a place for United.

AFC V MK Dons would be a battlefield, AFC hate MK Dons so much.

True AFC fans wouldn't attend the match in Milton Keynes.

I think AFC fans actually feel sick at the thought of playing MK Dons

If you guys remember correctly last year both teams had replays in the FA Cup 1st round and they drew each other in the next round. All of the fans sounded rather ill and everyone seemed to express they did not want this to happen. MK Dons lost their replay to Stevenage.

Yeah, there was talk of Wimbledon fans boycotting the game.
