You're exaggerating. Who are you to say who kids can and can't look up too? If people look up to Gerrard, fair enough. If they look up to some league 2 player, fair enough. If they look up to Henderson, this 'stereotypical English football' as you call him then that's fine with me.

Looking up to someone more techical doesn't mean anything, that's not what having an idle is about. To predict the future of a 20 year old is stupid too. Sturridge is 22 at the moment and when Man City got rid he wasn't seen as a future England player at all. Now he's improving fast and might make the cut eventually.

England needs Tubbs, Barnett, Akpan, Mills, Hunt, Bulman, Wilson, Akinde, Griffiths, Wassmer, Doughty, Neilson, Pittman.

Not sure about mceachran and oxlade chamberlain. They are both pretty young and it would be unfair on them to be put under soo much pressure because of the high expectations English people have.

on the contrary i think they are quite ready. it doesnt matter what activity thery are doing in club level, the important thing is that they are far more talented now and the future and worth more to england. get them ready noow

what nonsense. just because u cannot agree to new contract with a club and so u decide to join a even bigger club doesnt make u not seens as a future england player. strurridge has been touted as a international since he was 12

nothing wrong with predicting hendersons future because my prediction is very accurate. u must ask yourself, what improvements can he make with himself? physically? sure, muscle mass? indeed. technique? IMPOSSIBLE, henderson is guarenteed to make little improvement and the player u see now will be the same as in the future because of no basic fundamentals

But srsly, Chrissy Waddle has a point. At the moment you have useless/old farts like Lampard, Barry, Ferdinand, etc. stinking up the place in the England squad. If we start looking to the youth now, we might actually have a chance of doing well from 2014/2016 onwards.

It is true though, you know it and I know it, anyone who has played football at youth level in this country knows it.

Mauro you see when Sturridge comes on as a sub and doesn't score in the 10minutes he plays, the people of Liverpool will start calling him shit and that Andy 'next Van Basten ' Caroll is the best striker in the world. These scouse parasites will try their best to mentally unstabilize these fantastic young players because they're jealous as they will never see players of this quality at their mediocre club.
