Hmm, I may reconsider then.

What sliders do you adjust? I always play Fifa games on Legendary or World Class as I need some realism to the difficulty of the AI.

I'll probably stick to World Class at the beginning (as I wasn't very good while playing the demo ) and when I find myself winning games too easy I'll up it to Legendary.

Well I'm not really that good, played on world class on FIFA 11 and now on Pro but I turned the CPU pass error up a bit and also some other adjustements I don't really remember now but here's a good page some guy of the EA forums made about the sliders, the low injury frequency slider is unrealistic though, I have mine on 70

Also the tactical defending is pretty hard at the beginning, has a learning curve but after some time you should be able to master it.

Gigi, you've convinced me to buy it if I can find a copy for under £30. Thanks for the slider advice as well.

I think everyone hated the defending at the start.

But as always...everyone hates change. After a while people start to realise that it's not so bad.....perhaps even better.

I am completely fine with the new defending.....I actually feel more confident defending now.

And I play on World Class and I don't consider myself that great. You really just have to get used to it because it is a new game and you're not going to be good at it right away. I was having trouble even on Pro when I first started. Only slider I adjust is Injury severity to like 35 or something and frequency to like 45. This is after my best DM was out for like 5 months with an ACL.

You should try using Rennes and Montpellier too, Gegil. Great players on those two teams. And then there's Hannover. Didier Ya Konan.

Thanks for the suggestions, I actually use Rennes from time to time, M'Vila is a rock

I think it's most fun to play with 3-4 star teams, I do play with Arsenal from time to time but it's tiring to play against all those 5* teams all the time, Arsenal should be 4.5* imo.

Try being some Greek teams.

The update to the default on clubs made very little difference to the gameplay. Defaults are still overpowered as fuck, only difference is that its easier to get in behind them. Not that it matters as they always catch up and win the ball back with ease.

Another thing I've noticed is that you rarely get PK's now. Me and my club mates have been hacked down so many times and we haven't won a PK since the update. It's ridiculous.

Starting to get into CM now. Lost the Copa do Brasil final on penalties on Sunday.

Been doing a CM with Newcastle, and it's really fun. Already 20 games into the first season and in the Semi-Finals of the League Cup. Highlights would have to be beating Chelsea 3-1, and Liverpool 4-0. I lost to Man City 3-0 though and drew both times with Man Utd.

Currently I have the first FA Cup match coming up and the Winter Transfer window just opened. In the summer, I signed players like Antoine Griezmann and Jeremain Lens. Those two have been amazing, Griezmann I use as a treq and he's done really well. Also got Diego Mauricio as a super sub, and he does his job very well.

I'm top of the table with only one loss, and aiming to win the league and hopefully the league cup as well.

Player Growth has been pretty good as well, my players have been growing. Like Griezmann, he's already grown +3!!

Started a new manager mode a PSG.

I signed VDW, Pereira, Elano and my big signing was Carlos Eduardo. On the first game of the season Eduardo get's injured for 4 months. I then had to go sign McGeady which cost me another £15mill.

Jerome gets inured for 4 months with an LCL, was like "Alright he's only my second best striker I can deal with 4 months." Diouf (ie. my best striker) gets inured ALSO with an LCL for 2 months during training. For shits sake...
