10 Man Arsenal Win Late Against Manchester City For The Continental Cup


Continental Cup Champions. Woo. Took 6 tries, but finally broke through and had a good run. Decided to swtich Arsenal's formation to a 4-2-3-1 and it changed everything.. opponents didn't have buckets of space to rape me with, and i was able to make more than 1 pass before getting destroyed.

This time around.. the competition was of course pretty strong, and my mistakes continued to screw me over throughout the games, always wanting to play little passes when instead I should just clear the ball out.. since we all know FIFA likes to fuck you over.

1st match: Barca vs Me ; it was insanely tight the whole game, but RVP finally broke through in the 30th by out muscling Pique and firing a low dagger into the net. Barca had great chances and should have put a few away [myself also] but finally when the 75th minute rolled around, my opponent went to a 343 formation, opened up the game drastically.. and Walcott+RVP finished the game off on the counter. Good win.

2nd match: Man Utd vs Me ; my opponent really worked the speed abusers on Man Utd.. and it was a struggle.. I basically just had to continuously out predict his moves and keep him contained on the outside to beat him in my box. Rooney and the team couldn't out jump Verm/Kos so i felt confident. I slipped a early goal in.. and really felt good.. but then.. shortly after, i out predict myself.. he easily dribbles past my D.. and scores. The game was 1-1 till around the 70th.. then i decided to put some more pressure on his outside backs, and finished the game off.

3rd match: Porto vs Me ; i have no idea how he made it to the semi finals.. sorry.

Final: Man City vs Me ; right when i saw the team.. i was pretty worried.. and for good reason, the guy was solid.. and was even using a custom formation of 4-1-3-1-1, it was quite awesome looking actually. the game was back and forth the whole time, going into ET 2-2. How did we get to that? My short passes in my own penalty area like an idiot.. him finishing it with Tevez, RVP slipping by Kompany for a goal.. but this is the kicker..

Alex Song was on a yellow somehow.. and from a fluke FIFA impact engine.. apparently tripped Nasri near the 18yd and got a red.. I was basically fucked.. and pissed.. he scored his freekick SOMEHOW.. it shouldnt have happened.. but yeah.. i changed my formation instead of a 4231 to a 4221 without the CF. I handled it well.. and played decently and got another goal right before the whistle.. it was fucking amazing.

Extra Time.. it was brilliant... before the whistle for the 1st half of the ET Wilshere shot a magical rocket into the top left corner and gave me the lead. At the break, i decided i needed all the D i could get since i was getting overran and playing sketchy ball in the back.. went with a 5-4-1 without the ST. he knew he needed a goal so he went full press.. and that is where my wide wingers and RVP counter attacked the fuck out of them slipping in a few more before the whistle.

What a fucking relief.. well deserved.. and finally on a winning run.
