Thing is though you didn't know what it was like to have a Dad who would take you to football, support you, be excited to spend time with you, for then it to disappear, surely you understand what I'm getting at.

I've seen my dad approximately 40 weekends, used to see him a weekend every couple of months and sometimes not even that due to him work in America a lot. Hope you do hated my dad being away when my parents split over my dad cheating on my mum, hated him for a while but he's my dad so just can't hate him.
