It's your fault you wasted your own time. To leave the lesson to get your work from someone else's locker would've wasted both your teacher's and the other person's time.

I had done the work. The work was on school site. It just wasn't on my person. Two minutes out of 150 minutes to get it and get on with my work is a lot less hassle than a 45 minute detention, when I wasn't in the wrong?
