This game has the makings of a rather ugly spectacle. I see no joyful footballers who bring delight to the viewers with their ability.
In all likeliness, the winner will be the team who excert their thug behaviour on the game the best.
I think everyone would prefer to watch this type of game where footballing skill and ability will decide the outcome. Unfortunately players of the standard of Dimitar Berbatov are few and far between in this day and age.
Imagine adding Dimitar Berbatov to the Everton team for this game, I think the number of viewers would increase, the viewing pleasure would increase, the quality of the Everton team would increase dramatically, the chances of Everton winning would increase dramatically, the fear of the opposition would greatly increase. All this positivity that could be thrown into the game from the addition of one exceptional player, leaves you quite dissapointed that you will not be able to see it happen

Utter disgrace of a game this one, always is, just a 22 man brawl with a football thrown in.

I was going to post that aswell, and i still remember watching it when Liverpool won the double in King Kenneth's first season as player manager. Got every one of Liverpool's 7 winning FA Cup finals on DVD the full games. Check out the 1985 and 1987 games 1.22 on that just love the goal from Steve McMahon what a strike. And the first goal on it from King Kenneth 20 odd seconds into the derby.Mr Leiva wrote:Alan wrote: Nope its never had some great football played in it. Dalglish really should start Kuyt this match, his record against Everton.
