Brighton to win 5-3.

2 games in 48 hours, pathetic. Funny how the PL clubs never have to do this.

I was gonna say 4-3 but yes, lots of goals with Brighton coming out on top.

You would think when agreeing the tv deal that they would say something about time inbetween games.

Bet it was an early kick off on the Sunday though.

FL clubs just have to put up with Sky, if you're not in the Prem then you're not deemed worthy enough to change much with them.
Brilliant atmosphere in this game aswell.

Still same amount of days, plus they had to travel up to Stoke while Brighton have been at home for both games. Oh I also remember us playing in UEFA Cup on a Thursday then on the Saturday play Chelsea away at lunchtime.James wrote:easley91 wrote:Tottenham played on Sunday then Tuesday.

Tottenham will have a larger squad at their disposal, it's easier for them to rest and rotate players than it is for a Championship side.

So did Manchester United.

What do you expect when you are in the uefa cup, simply not enough days in a week to have good recovery time.
Tuesdays are domestic cup games i think.

Say it was a midday kick off, that is almost an 8 hour difference. If it was 1.30, that's just over 6 hour difference. I don't think that game will have taken place at 4pm.
As for the 2nd one, proof? And to be honest, Premier League squads should be able to deal with this, Championship (just come up from league 1) cannot deal with this and i'm positive if Liverpool where asked to play tonight they'd have said no.

Yes we rested players against Stoke, but it was still 2 games in 3 days which really shouldn't happen, sky or no sky. At least 2 days between games is a minimum for me. In fact Stoke had the same as us, played on Sunday then Tuesday.RobbieSavageIsA... wrote:easley91 wrote:Still same amount of days, plus they had to travel up to Stoke while Brighton have been at home for both games. Tottenham could play entirely different teams in each match if they wanted to.
Either way, scheduling conflicts happen. All teams should know this and be able to deal with it.
