Always a hard game away at Stoke, nothing to be disheartened about.

Only concern was the amount of unsuccessful passes, countless amount of times we easily gave the ball away. We didn't really get going to day, lacked a bit of spark.

De Gea pulled off two class saves, kept us in the game. Wouldn't really say his goal was his fault, poor defending let crouch have a simple header.

I'd preferred Carrick to start, might have kept the ball a bit more then Fletcher, who still doesn't look sharp at the moment.

We lost our control of the game once Dimitar Berbatov went off, but i suppose Fergie could not take Owen off after substituting him on.

A brilliant point, I thought the performance was outstanding at a dround like the Britannia.

Berbatov was one of the shittest on the team, The only player worse then him was Valencia.

I disagree in entirety. I thought Berbatov lead the line fantastically, he rarely gives the ball away and his movement drifting inbetween the lines is absolutely fantastic - a dream for a player like Hernandez or Owen because while the presence of Berbatov draws defenders out to mark him, Hernandez can sprint behind that player in on goal.

You fail to appreciate the beauty, elegance and genius of Dimitar Berbatov. A fantastically clever player who knows exactly what he is doing.

And had very little impact today.

Had one decent run at the Stoke defence, which won a corner I think. Apart from that, he controlled the ball well a few times.

so tell me did he do anything to contribute to the team ? No
Did he contribute to a goal ? No
He had a decent opportunity to have a shot at goal but lost possession .

Berbatov's sheer presence on the field allowed Nani to score the goal.

My friend, you are failing to recognise the things Berbatov makes look simple with his stunning technique. I believe an Owen - Welbeck partnership from the start with no Berbatov would have seen us crushed, with nobody to hold the ball further up the pitch like Berbatov does. He waits for support and overlapping runs from Nani, Yound, Hernandez and Owen before releasing them with a deadly pass. Don't expect Berbatov to be the scorer all the time. As I have stated on numerous occassions before, Dimitar Berbatov is the perfectionist of the assist of the assist.

Berbatov wasn't that bad today though. I'd say he was better than Owen, who looked dreadful, did he even touch the ball second half?

Berbatov held the ball up and kept it, something we were lacking against Stoke. I would have kept him on and brought Owen off, personally.

Norwich at home next week, hopefully we return to our best. Hernandez dead leg, should be fine. Then Rooney can be rested just in case as it's international after so he'll be fresh for our Liverpool, City, Everton run in.

My friend, part of the problem for Berbatov not scoring as many goals as you wish is down to the greed of a Owen, Hernandez, Nani and Young. You see, Dimitar Berbatov is the opposite. he endlessly sets up the players I have mentioned and yet they persist in failing to return the favour, leaving Berbatov, at times, frustrated.

It is a deep shame because if their was one player you'd like to see on the end of a good chance, it is Dimitar Berbatov, considering his tecnique and ability very rarely let him down. I have seen on numerous occassions Berbatov free at the back post, but he is ignored an the chances are wasted because players fail to see and pick out Dimitar Berbatov.

My friend, I agree 100%, it was a nailed on penalty, Woodgate simply couldn't handle Berbatov and knew he was about to get turned. Berbatov being the honets man he is didn't exaggerate the fall however, although, with the bias the referee showed, if Berbatov had exaggerated the foul he would have booked him or diving Rolling Eyes
