I was thinking of hosting a new competition on here similar to the rap battle contest a few months ago. The only differences being that I'd pick a new concept for each stage of the competition and the battlers have to write a 16 bar/line (or more) verse on said concept, instead of it being a dissing war between two rappers.
Also, this time the verses will be anonymous, therefore preventing biased voting by the public.
Your finished verse should be PM'd to me, then I randomly match them up into pairs and make a poll for each pair. The two verses will be titled Rapper 1 and Rapper 2. You vote for which one you think is better.
For example, the first concept could be 'heartbreak' which has quite a broad spectrum. You could write about a family member dying, a girl breaking up with you, a tragedy or whatever. Up to you entirely, as long as it fits with the concept.
You all write a 16 bar verse on the subject and when you've finished, you send it to me through PM. Vote threads are then made, and winners progress to the next round. Simple.
Basically, if you want to be involved in this, then put your name down. (Don't put your name down if you're going to be lazy or if you're unsure whether you have time to participate fully.)
If you've got ideas for concepts, then suggestions are welcome. I'll make a list.
