I didn't think Pogba was that great tbh whereas I thought Fryers was excellent throughout. Owen & Valencia at RB were also class.

    Berbatov though ... Neutral

Fryers was great, look calm on the ball and was bloody quick. Pogba looked a bit 'shy' kept back a bit instead of going more forward, which he loves doing for the reserves. He got himself around the pitch nearer the end and won quite a few headers. He'll probably get better with confidence, was a big game to introduce some of the youth players. Thought Cole done good when he came on, shielded the ball well at times.

    Yeah, I agree with that.

#mufc had Macheda, Welbeck, Amos, Fryers, Giggs, Cole, Pogba on show tonight...all youth products

Wow wasn't expecting it to be so comfortable, line up looked pretty shocking on paper, Macheda and Diouf as our wingers, to be honest Macheda was absolutely dreadful, but you can't really have a go at him when he's playing out of position.

Any way buzzin with that result, 3-0 is fantastic, could have been more as well, Giggs ran that first half and was brilliant.

Owen's second goal was a brilliant finish. not worthy Fryer as well, great debut from him and also great to get Welbeck back playing. Smile

    Great night.

Bit worried about our defensive injuries going into the Stoke game, who will be back?

Thought Pogba was pretty good. Didn't do too much, stayed back and played it simple, with the game already won obviously. Didn't give it away too much either.

Fryers was superb at centre back though. Whoever he is. shifty

    If Smalling and Rio are out;

    Fabio/Valencia, Jones, Evans, Evra.

If Smalling's fit, him at right back obviously. And Rio in for Evans if he is.

Didn't think much of Pogba's performance myself, was average, but yeah I've seen enough of him to know he's talented any way.

Yeah it wasn't anything spectacular. But it didn't need it either. Like I said, he wasn't giving the ball away all the time.

Singing on their own for a bit, effort. They were only singing for 20 of those minutes to take piss out of us until we got forced out. Laughing

Do you think Owen realises they had no choice but to stay put or does he reckon they all just stayed to show some love? Laughing

Damn, nothing? Just give him time to adapt, only his first official first team action with the squad and still think he could develop into a hell of a talent.

Yeah, we were already 3-0 up when he came on, I'm not slagging him off just didn't see much in that 45 minutes, seen enough of him elsewhere to know he's quality though.

Apparently Owen has 11 goals in his last 12 starts and 8 goals in 8 Carling Cup games.
